What sets DRV+ apart

Turmeric works better when it's used the correct way.

Curcumin is what does the work - it is the yellow pigment that carries turmeric's active compounds. But curcumin alone isn't the full picture. We give your client 200mg concentrated curcumin extract (equivalent to 3,000mg of turmeric) plus a further 300mg of whole turmeric root powder. This gives them both the concentrated strength and the full spectrum of curcuminoids the body responds to.

We add organic ginger root (supplying gingerols and shogaols) for mobility and organic black pepper (supplying piperine, which enhances absorption of all nutrients). Without piperine, curcumin barely absorbs. With it, everything works harder.

This isn't turmeric with random additions. It's a system designed so each ingredient makes the others work better

KEY FEATURES

  • 200mg curcumin from concentrated turmeric root extract.
  • 300mg whole turmeric root powder for full spectrum curcuminoids.
  • Organic ginger root for mobility support.
  • Organic black pepper for enhanced absorption of all nutrients.
  • Organically grown and sourced from India, with no fillers or additives.

THE EVIDENCE

  • 95% of users find Curcumin & Turmeric effective, based on our study of 61 customers.
  • The longest-standing users rate it highest. Consistency counts more than quantity because curcumin is fat-soluble and cleared from the body relatively quickly, so a steady daily intake does more than an occasional large dose.
  • 64% felt a difference within 4 weeks, and 84% within 8 weeks.
  • BBC Good Food 'Star Buy' and 'Best Turmeric Supplement, 2025'.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Take it consistently for at least 2 months. Joints and mobility don't improve overnight, they change steadily. Most people notice a difference within 4 to 8 weeks, with the longest-standing users reporting the best results. Consistency matters more than quantity.

IMPORTANT

Not suitable alongside antiplatelets (blood thinners), antidiabetic medication or antihypertensives. Your client should check with their GP if they take any medication.

Still have questions?
We’ve got answers.

What is the best turmeric supplement?

According to BBC Good Food 'Best turmeric supplements, tried and tested', published in November 2025, DRV+ (Formerly DR.VEGAN®) Curcumin & Turmeric is rated 'Star Buy'.

Rated 5/5, the independent review comments "We like that these capsules combine high-quality curcumin extract with added vitamins C and D for extra immune support. They’re easy to take, fit seamlessly into a daily routine and don’t have any flavour, which is ideal for anyone sensitive to taste. The optimised formulation seems designed for better absorption and potential therapeutic benefits. Although the premium ingredients make them more expensive (though by no means the most expensive we tested), we think the quality and inclusion of additional nutrients justify the cost for those looking for an effective, all-round turmeric supplement."

Are Curcumin & Turmeric the same thing?

Yes and no. Curcumin is the all-important active ingredient in turmeric, and it is the curcumin in turmeric that is so acclaimed for supporting joints, bones and muscles. Think of curcumin as the concentrate of turmeric. The problem with standard turmeric and turmeric supplements is in their normal form, turmeric contains a very, very small amount of curcumin.

If your client is taking a standard turmeric supplement for their joints, check if the supplement lists curcumin separately in the nutritional table. If you don't see curcumin in the nutritional table, it means there isn't sufficient curcumin in the supplement and while the turmeric supplement will be beneficial for digestion, it won't be helping their joints and joint aches.

That's why our Curcumin & Turmeric is so popular - because it contains 200mg of Curcumin and 3300mg of Turmeric, and is very effective for joints, digestion and daily wellbeing.

Is Black Pepper important in a Turmeric supplement?

Yes. Studies show that black pepper can improve the body's absorption of turmeric by up to 2,000%. Ginger also has a very beneficial effect on the absorption of turmeric.

Is Curcumin & Turmeric the best supplement for joints?

Yes, our Curcumin & Turmeric is the best-selling supplement for joint health and discomfort that is caused by conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis and other conditions.

Can my client take this product with other products containing Turmeric?

Yes, absolutely. Our team of expert nutritionists are there to provide further advice, should you need it. You can email them at any time at team@drv.co.

What is curcumin good for?

Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric. It is a powerful antioxidant and widely studied for its benefits for joint health, joint mobility, and digestion.

How much curcumin should my client take per day?

200mg is the optimal dosage of Curcumin. Check the supplement label to make sure it contains curcumin and discloses the level of curcumin in it.

Does turmeric curcumin interfere with any medications?

It is not recommended to take Curcumin & Turmeric with antiplatelets (blood thinners), antidiabetic medication or antihypertensives. If your client is taking any medication or under medical supervision, they should consult their GP or healthcare practitioner before taking supplements.
